COLLECTION OF HAIKU

DETACHED
I sit and stare out
All alone on an island,
Wasting time away.

MOTHER EARTH
For the life she holds,
Nothing is being done to

Help keep her intact.

STORMS AT SEA
The smooth ocean blue,
Turned into the turbulent
Storms gray of autumn.

FIRST SNOW
As white as can be,
Only to melt upon touch
Of the human hand.

REIGN OF TERROR
Coming down from clouds,
Little droplets of water
Like an angel’s tears.

KITE IN THE WIND
I would like to fly,
Like the kite that is breezing
Through the fast paced wind.

PETALS OF LIFE
I don’t give flowers,
Because they die, but you do
Red roses don’t you?
