WHAT IS A FRIEND?

A friend is someone to whom you should say,
What is mine is yours without a doubt.
Should hardship ever come about,
Just come knocking on my door
And I will give you of my store.

A friend should be able to say to you,
If misfortune comes my way,
And my goods be gone in just one day
I shall not fear for want or bread
But come knocking on your door instead.

A friend is not something that cannot be bought.
Because it is life's richest treasure;
It is a gift that money cannot measure.
A friend will stick with you through thick or thin
Just like a Siamese twin.

Some friends are fragile;
For them you should take time to love and care
Take time to feel their fear.
Just let them know that when everything seems to be
Going wrong, you'll be a friend, even to the end.
