THE KNIGHT AND THE PRINCESS

All alone, I walked for many miles,
Only to savor your heart felt smiles
Shining from the far approaching distance.

Your eyes of innocence bring laughter,
To all those following you after
Dreams of shared together of tomorrow.

Those laughing at you only shed tears,
In hiding their secret tales and fears
Of opening up to another.

I hold your hand as you lead me toward
Cascading waves hitting the seaboard
With its beauty being consistent.

As we share our lives together now,
Remember I am your shining Knight
As you are my majestic Princess.

PUPPY LOVE

Smile on me with your heart,
Hold me in glorious rapture.
Show me a promise of love with a sigh,
Here and in the sweet hereafter.

You are my light, my vision of hope,
My sweet comforting friend.
No road is blind to our eyes,
And our hearts together ride the bend.

Your presence brings me pleasure,
A wave of sheer contentment.
Ever filling me with the hopes of
Eternal commitment.

FIRST KISS

From across the room,
Two seemingly innocent souls feel a nudge.
You're in one corner,
I'm in my own and notice you.

Soon enough, our eyes meet.
Yours soften into a gentle smile,
While mine sparkle with hope
And thrill me with warm sensations.

Your eyes penetrate my aura and send
Secret callings to my heart.
An unseen force comes between us,
A deeper attraction pulls us together.

Closer, closer we seem to be drawn
'till our hands touch,
Emitting sparks of joy
As I feel I've found you.

Silently my eyes, my lips,
Silently call on to you.
You understand as I want you
To find me.

Then a butterfly
With wings strong as hope,
Colorful as song,
Come to rest.

Its touch gently graces
The petals of a young flower,
Invoking the sense of love
That had for so long been sought.

I now realize how strong,
Simply one small touch can be.
For our love, became real
As it bloomed from our first kiss.

SUBARU SEVEN

Come, tell me what's on your mind,
and I'll hear you with my heart.
Take the time to share with me
all that you know, and I'll share
with you both laughter and sorrow.
Forgive me when I forget
to thank you for your hard work.
Please guide me towards wisdom and
before you know it, you'll see
how all the sudden we've grown.
Where we once stood all alone,
we now stand by each other.
As friends, the bond strengthens us
differences seems to waste away
as we now become a family.

A RICH MAN'S DEPOSIT INTO THE BANK OF LIFE

My health.
I have time,
People I love,
Free to be me,
A quiet mind,
My freedoms,
Great parents,
Slow mornings,
Ability to travel,
God to believe in,
Simple pleasures.
Blessed life career,
Rest without guilt,
Good night’s sleep,
I’m have my health,
Balanced education,
Roof over my head,
Home cooked meals,
Good food and drink,
Calm and boring days,
Stimulating discussions,
People who love me back,
Meaningful conversations,

as I think of more, I'll make another deposit...

TWISTING TIME TOWARDS TRANQUILITY

Wishing only to go up and hug my best friend,
For the gracious gratitude for all that he has done.
Yet our society grimaces upon me doing this so proudly,
I honor him as my brother, though distant as parted seas.

The fiery sun, brought cordial feelings to our minds,
Reminiscing merely the shared, pleasant moments of our lives.
As the fiery sun was conquered by the gathering gray clouds,
Our sudden feelings of warmth, turbulently transformed.

I gazed with immense admiration for how he protected me,
And all that he accomplished in his brief, but complete life.
I never had another friend become an integral part of me,
Nor has anyone come into his life as loyal and accepting.

Before I could rescue him, death came knocking upon his door,
Helpless were his weak and fragile body taken to disease.
Neither feelings of anxiety or tranquillity,
Came across his mind, body and spirit while I was with him.

As he tasted his last breathe and felt his final heart beat,
His fragile hands stretched towards me courageously.
Taking my warm hand, holding as tight as he possibly could,
Our faces, flooded with tears of numerous mixed emotions.

During his last hours, our glossy eyes stared at death directly,
Just waiting for it to finally arrive and not linger on any longer.
Then I felt his hand become cold and helpless, then vacated,
And without a word to me, his life succumbed and became part of me.

The instant down pour of tears shed by the dark heavens,
Left a cold, somber feeling inside of me knowing that he is forever gone.
Knowing that he has finally reached a world of tranquillity,
And leaving me all alone to survive and explore what he left behind.

As I parted his final resting place, all I can do is bow my head,
And mumble and whimper peacefully, "thank you for being my friend."
For the first time, leaving me isolated, standing all alone in the rain,
Only waiting to once again join him in laughter and not one of sorrow.

WHAT IS A FRIEND?

A friend is someone to whom you should say,
What is mine is yours without a doubt.
Should hardship ever come about,
Just come knocking on my door
And I will give you of my store.

A friend should be able to say to you,
If misfortune comes my way,
And my goods be gone in just one day
I shall not fear for want or bread
But come knocking on your door instead.

A friend is not something that cannot be bought.
Because it is life's richest treasure;
It is a gift that money cannot measure.
A friend will stick with you through thick or thin
Just like a Siamese twin.

Some friends are fragile;
For them you should take time to love and care
Take time to feel their fear.
Just let them know that when everything seems to be
Going wrong, you'll be a friend, even to the end.
